William Shepherd married Maraget Laing 29 June 1799 in Dundee.


Margaret Laing born 1779 in Perthshire.

Accoding to the Scottish census the lived for a very long time in Blackcoft Dundee. Weavers, Flax, Tailors  and Dressmakers


Patrick Nimmo Shepherd is my Great Great Great Grandfather.


Patrick Nimmo Shepherd. married


Jane Bell on the 24th June 1836 Jane Bell born 17 March 1816 Dundee.


Patrick Nimmo Shepherd and Jane ( Bell) Shepherd emigrated to  Victoria Australia on the ship CONWAY


They had the following children.


Elizabeth 1837  Dundee


William 1839 Dundee


Margaret 1841 Newcastle England ( 3x G Grabdmother)


David Bell 1846 Dundee


Jane 1852 Dundee


Patrick Nimmo 1854 Geelong Victoria Australia


Thomas Muir 1856 Geelong Victoria Australia.


Patrick Nimmo Shepherd and Jane Shepherd took  the youngest children then onto Dunedin New Zealand.


The older children stayed in Geelong and Melbourne Australia .


James Shepherd born 1800 Dundee also came to Geelong Australia.


He married Janet Littlejohn 26  June 1824. Janet Littlejohn was born 19 May 1798 Dundee.
