All my ancestors came from Aberdeanshire and I believe that my surname of Lawrence is a Sept of the MacLaren clan. Can anyone confirm this for me please.

Hi Robert, since no one has answered yet, everything that I have read on Clan MacLaren (Labhran) and Labhran is the gaelic word for Lawrence. Hope that helps!
