A cigarette card of William Robertson from Dumfries who won the Victoria Cross for his heroic actions during the Battle of Elandslaagte, on the 21st October, 1899 during the Second Boer War.

Just noticed that on the card the date has actually been printed incorrectly, saying 1900 rather than 1899 for the battle.
