Spring Fling 2014

Spring Fling in Dumfries & Galloway is one of the UK's most successful open studio events.

It runs over the late May bank holiday weekend and covers the whole of Dumfries and Galloway when almost 100 professional artists and makers open their studios free of charge giving the public a unique opportunity to see what they do, watch a demonstration, have a chat and possibly buy or commission an artwork. The majority of participating studios are not usually open to the public and are only open for this once-a-year event.

In addition to the core event Spring Fling presents the Spring Fling Fringe - a festival of food, drink, music and performance activities offering a diverse range of evening activities for visitors to enjoy.
