Discover a sense of place in the South West of Scotland during Homecoming Scotland 2014.

With a year long programme of events, exhibitions and attractions celebrating Robert Burns the National Poet of Scotland, you are invited to explore the area's relationship with and influence on culture, identity and creativity.

The area has many fascinating tributes to and insights into the life and work of Robert Burns, Scotland's National Poet. Burns was born and spent much of his life in the region, which influenced his poetry - now celebrated at home and abroad.

In partnership with Homecoming Scotland 2014, the South West will create a trail which explores the key Burns themed visitor attractions and present a full year long events programme to showcase the area's relationship with and influence on culture, identity and creativity.
