Large parts of Lancashire in The North of England and Yorkshire have been devistated with flooding after four Atlantic Storms have dumped 3ft water. tonight it has just started again high winds 80mph and heavy rain.
Liz Doyle
I'm sorry to hear about the floods in your area. We had flood warnings too, but nothing as bad as that.
Liz Doyle
Ian you can talk to me any time. I don't know how good my advise will be, but I will try. Best of luck to you, may everything turn out for the best.
Ian Alfred Ferguson
Thank you Liz. thats all I want is a friend I can talk to if I want to. ;-))))))

I will be OK I am on high ground. but we are low then high all the water falling goes to the low areas normaly the rivers just take the water out to sea. but the rain has been so heavy the rivers cant take it. I can hear the wind and heavy rain now hitting my house.
Liz Doyle
It sounds like you are hit by that same system we had last week and early this week. They do travel across the Atlantic when they are as strong as this one. I hope that it will clear out for you soon, as it finally has here. The weather behind it is cold, but at least it is dry.
Ian Alfred Ferguson
I dont mind it cold you can wrap up against it as long as it is dry and not windy.
Liz Doyle
I agree with you there, but I do wish the sun would come out once in a while. It hasn't rained anymore for the last few days, but is still so cloudy that the sun can't even peek through. Dreary.
