Just started off the highland game season with a Scottish Heritage Festival, found a group that will give my kid free bagpipe lessons if she joins their group.

That's a bonus. My kids do 2 instruments each, so it's a scary amount of money we pay for lessons. But it is such a wonderful thing for kids to do - gift for life.

I am so excited, she is 12 and just got excited in the last year to do this, and I have not been able to find anyone to teach her until this weekend. And the bonus is the group was formed to salute vets/ and first responders.

that's wonderful. My daughter is 13 am just about to leave to take her to her band practice at Poppy Scotland. It's where all the vets make the poppies here in Edinburgh.
