Clan Grant Annual Gathering 2014

Fri 8th - Sun 10th August - Annual Gathering at the Abernethy Highland Games.

The Clan Grant Society hosts a number of annual get-togethers and the most important is the Annual Clan Grant Gathering which is held over a weekend in August in conjunction with the Abernethy Highland Games.

A memorable feature of each games is the Clan March, where members of the Society march to the opening ceremony of the games in traditional dress behind a band of massed pipes and drums. The procession begins at the Nethybridge Hotel, where many Clan members stay overnight, and ends in the Games Field for the opening ceremony.
