Commonwealth Ceilidh 2014

Get Scotland Dancing and The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society are working together with you to create a global 24-hour ceilidh. We'll provide the programme of dances, the music and videos so you can learn the dances in advance. We'll also give you marketing materials to help you promote your event.

You just need to find a venue, train a demonstration team, think about booking a live band and invite your community to join you. The Commonwealth Ceilidh will begin at 19:30 wherever you are in the world on Saturday 21 June 2014 and will follow the time zones around the world to create a global 24-hour ceilidh to celebrate the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
