I'm new to this site. My g.g.grandfather was named Tayler and emigrated to the US after "some upheaval in Scotland", according to my grandmother (I would guess the Highland clearances). My g.g.grandfather was named Tayler and emigrated to the US after "some upheaval in Scotland", according to my grandmother (I would guess the Highland clearances). He told her he was of the Clan Cameron. That's all I really know about him. I think his first name was Thomas, but I'm not sure. I live in the US and have always been interested in geneaology. Happy to be here!
